WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society has received the coveted 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator, the largest and most utilized independent charity evaluator in America.

This achievement is the highest possible rating with Charity Navigator, and is a testament to the Zoo's sound fiscal management and a proven commitment to accountability and transparency.

“We are honored to receive this important distinction," said Kathleen Breland, the Zoo's interim CEO. “We hope that our practices will continue to inspire people to act on behalf of wildlife and the natural world."

Only a quarter of charities rated by Charity Navigator receive the distinction of our 4-star rating. Charity Navigator is the leading charity evaluator in America, evaluating ten times more charities than their closest competitors. They aim to keep donors equipped with the essential information needed to make informed decisions about their charitable decisions.

“Palm Beach Zoo's exceptional 4-star rating sets it apart from its peers and demonstrates its trustworthiness to the public,” according to Michael Thatcher, President & CEO of Charity Navigator.
