Palm Beach Zoo Temporarily Closing to the Public March 18, 2020

Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is a vital part of the West Palm Beach community for more than 50 years. It takes its social responsibility to inspire, educate and provide a nearby escape to nature very seriously.

Out of an abundance of caution for the community, visitors, staff, volunteers and animals, and based on the recommendations of the CDC, Florida Department of Health, Governor Ron DeSantis and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the Zoo will temporarily close beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020. This a precautionary measure in line with other Florida attractions, and the intent is to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

During this time, the Zoo’s animal care team will continue to take world-class care of the animals that call the Zoo home.

Stay tuned to facebook & Instagram, @palmbeachzoo for the latest news from the animals.

In alignment with current recommendations from the Florida Department of Health and the Governor's office, the Palm Beach Zoo is rescheduling some upcoming events as follows:

  • Brew at the Zoo rescheduled to September 26, 2020
  • Cocktails and Conservation Lecture Series is postponed until Fall 2020
  • Big Cat Race 5K event is postponed until Fall 2020
  • Photos with Bunny, April 10 & 11, has been cancelled
  • Party for the Planet, April 18, will be postponed to a later date

All tickets sold will be honored for the new event date. If you are unable to attend on the new event date please contact the Zoo, info@palmbeachzoo.org
