Friends & Family may enter Zoo to await finishers in the Fountain Plaza. Please remain in the Fountain Plaza area until the Zoo opens at 9:00 am
For the safety of all, please follow the directions of the parking attendants. Parking is available in the main Zoo parking lot until about 6:30am. Additional parking is available just across Summit Blvd. in lots A, B & C of Dreher Park South. Allow 10-15 minutes to walk from outer lots and still arrive at check in by 7:00am. All parking is free.
This run is chip-timed. Your bib has an electronic chip that starts your timer when you pass the starting line. We do ask that walkers and slower runners stage a little farther back in the pack to allow faster runners a clear path at the start. Due to insurance considerations - NO strollers, skateboards, bicycles, wagons allowed on the course, nor pets/animals.
Course Map will be posted soon.
All runners registered by April 1, 2019 will have their first name on the Bib.
The new event T-shirt is a Sport Tek - Shirts come in Men's cut and Women's v-neck
Runners arriving on foot, bicycle or car-pool (4 or more runners in a vehicle) can enter into a drawing for a special drawing. Please look for the volunteer with the entry forms near the parking lot entrance.
RUNNING SHOE RECYCLE:
We’ll have a running shoe recycling bin near the race-day tables. Those shoes will be turned into playground surfaces.
Net proceeds from this run help fund the Palm Beach Zoo’s partnership with Wildlife Conservation Society to protect animals in the wild.
