Palm Beach Zoo is committed to the well-being of the animals entrusted to us.
Our dedication aims to extend and improve their quality of life, and ensure the continuation of their species for generations to come. This is achieved by:
- Providing 24/7 expert veterinarian care to keep our animals happy and healthy
- Designing wild-like habitats for our residents that simulate their natural environments
- Establishing strong bonds and trust between zoologists and animals
- Preserving genetic diversity of our rare and endangered species

Conservation
Each of our core conservation programs is dedicated to saving threatened ecosystems and species across the globe. One dollar from every ticket purchase goes directly to support local and regional conservation projects, benefiting coral reef restoration, the Florida panther, swallow-tailed kites, jaguars and more.

Human-Nature Connection
Research tells us that human health is inextricably tied to nature and the company of animals. Safely sharing the same space with an exotic animal, like a Florida panther or koala, is a powerful experience.
It changes people for the better, increasing empathy and moving people to action to help protect our most vulnerable animals.

Education
Palm Beach Zoo is the largest provider of environmental education in Palm Beach County, presenting 785 educational programs offsite to 30,000 local students last year, of which 60% were from low-income and underserved communities. With your help, we can expand our STEM-based educational opportunities to more than 15,000 Title 1 students this year, at no out-of-pocket cost to families or schools.
