“We’re proud to continue showcasing movies with a message,” said Ron Brooks, Events Manager for the Zoo. “’We Bought a Zoo’ is based on the true story of a writer and his family buying and resurrecting a closed zoo. It will give viewers a little insight into what we do, and some of the challenges we face at the Palm Beach Zoo every day.”

“The story also shows the healing power of our relationships with animals,” Brooks continued. “We hope when guests attend this ‘ZOOvies’ presentation, the movie will show the manpower it takes to provide a high level of quality care to zoo animals in a light-hearted way. Plus, with two of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, you know it will be entertaining!”
