South Africa:  Experience the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, rhinoceros, Cape buffalo and leopard) at the world-famous Kruger National Park and then escape to the stunning coastlines of Cape Town--one of the most beautiful cities in the world!  Travelers will also have the opportunity to walk among the penguins at Boulders Park in Table Mountain National Park and view the fur seals on the Seal Island cruise in False Bay.

Safari Escort: Keith Lovett, Assistant Zoo Director at the Palm Beach Zoo

Safari Escort Bio: Keith has worked for the Palm Beach Zoo for 13 years and is responsible for the management of the zoo’s wildlife collection representing over 1,400 animals including 68 species that are classified as either near threatened, vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered. Keith’s many responsibilities include oversight of all animal care, involvement in field research projects, and oversight of the zoo’s horticulture programs.  Keith has led numerous trips to Africa and focuses on traveler experience, natural history knowledge and ensuring that each safari is safe as well as exciting!   As a result of his many travels, Keith is able to provide smooth transitions for safari guests between destinations as well as provide valuable insight and information along the way!
