Safari Nights: The Zoo Comes Alive at Night!

Beginning in 2014, join us on select Friday evenings (4:15 to 9 p.m.) from April through October for our newly expanded Safari Nights Series. Each night will feature a different family-friendly theme and will include entertainment such as:

  • Roving Animal Encounters, Keeper Talks, & Training Sessions
  • Interactive Fountain Fun
  • Giveaways*
  • Children's Games and Crafts in the Florida Pioneer House 
  • Glass Productions' Purple People Painters Face Painting or Air Brush Tattooo Artists and Noisy Neighbors DJ & Dance Party in the Fountain Plaza
  • Dinner Specials in the Tropics Cafe
  • Offerings of the Paws for a Cause Animal Art Expo
  • Photo Opportunities with the Zoo Crew's Costume Characters: Kiwi the Koala, Timmy the Tiger, Crash the Cardinal & Speedy the Sea Turtle
  • Live Music for the Grown-Ups on the Tropics Cafe Deck Overlooking Baker Lake*

Wildlife Carousel: Rides are $3 each or 2 for $5 with all proceeds benefiting the Zoo's animals. Palm Beach Zoo Members receive one complimentary ride on the Wildlife Carousel per Safari Night visit from April - May 2014.
