Palm Beach Zoo sets record for “best day” and “best month” of attendance including the week of Spring Break.
Last Tuesday, the Zoo had its best single day on record with 3,348 guests attending in beautiful 70-degree weather. The next three days brought more of the same – great weather and many visitors - making four straight days of attendance in excess of 3,000. With last week being Spring Break for Palm Beach, Broward, and Martin Counties combined, Zoo attendance finished the month of March at 44,641 – another milestone for best month on record at the Palm Beach Zoo. The last time the Zoo had over 3,000 guests in one day was December 28, 2011.
Much of this success has to do with the Zoo’s approach to marketing itself in the community. Offering new hands-on animal experiences like the Aldabra Tortoise encounter, new after-hours events like the upcoming Brew at the Zoo on April 27 bring another level to our guest experience while events like Breakfast with the Bunny continue to build on its popularity among visitors.
