Save the Tiger 5K

Date: May 11, 2013 7:30 AM
Fewer than 500 Malayan Tigers are estimated to be left in the world. Four of these magnificent creatures live at the Palm Beach Zoo; mom Berapi and her three offspring Jaya, Bunga, and Penari. The cubs are the result of the Palm Beach Zoo's participation in the Malayan Tiger Species Survival Plan, working with other accredited zoos to manage the population, protect habitat and stop poaching activities. Save The Tiger 5k is a chip-timed run, sanctioned by the USATF.
