The featured book during Story Time at the Zoo at 10:30 a.m. on November 1, 2014, will be “Monkey: A Trickster Tale from India” by Gerald McDermott. The event will take place at the Zoo’s Conservation Station by the Safari Train and the Wildlife Carousel. Story Time at the Zoo is an event geared towards encouraging children to connect with wildlife through reading. Story Time will be included in the cost of Zoo admission. Books are thoughtfully chosen with an emphasis on animals, as part of the Zoo’s mission of inspiring people to act on behalf of wildlife. A.J. Dasher, visitor services supervisor for the Zoo, will read to children during Story Time at the Zoo.
