The Palm Beach Zoo's Florida Hawksbill Project, established in 2004, represents the first systematic study of the hawksbills of Florida, and is designed to contribute significantly to our understanding and conservation of this remarkable species. Sea Turtle researcher, Larry Wood, designed a capture and release tagging program with hawksbill turtles to help him understand their life histories, their biology, their range, and much much more.
Interested in learning more? Then join us on March 4, 2014 at Force-E Pompano Beach for a presentation by Larry Wood. Register for this event below...and of course we will have some snacks and giveaways...all apart of Force-E's Sea Turtle Week!
