Memorial Day at the Zoo

The Palm Beach Zoo appreciates the hard work and dedication of the men and women in the United States Armed Forces. To show our gratitude, we offer all active, reservist, and retired members of the military free admission (valid ID must be presented at the admissions booth). Up to 3 military family members/direct dependents will receive a 50% discount when accompanied by their military hero. All service personnel visiting the Zoo this Memorial Day will receive a special gift from all of us here at the Zoo!

Teddy Bears are stuffed with LOVE! It’s time for their annual check-up at the Palm Beach Zoo’s Teddy Bear Affair. Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to this very special event. The Palm Beach Zoo’s Veterinary Team will be available to perform check-ups on our furry stuffed friends.

Story Time: "If I Ran the Zoo" by Dr. Seuss

The book read during Story Time at the Zoo on May 23rd will be “If I Ran the Zoo” by Dr. Seuss. The popular event will take place at the Zoo’s Conservation Station by the Safari Train and the Wildlife Carousel. Story Time at the Zoo is geared towards encouraging children to connect with wildlife through reading, and it is included in the cost of Zoo admission.

Guests are invited to have a “hopping good time” during the Grand Opening of the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society’s newest exhibit, the Frog Bog, on Saturday, May 9, at 11 a.m. Select Zoo Members will release frogs into the habitat (pre-registration is required), and guests will hear a special Keeper Talk about native Florida amphibians and the important role they play in the ecosystem. Children will enjoy frog-themed crafts and games, froggie face painting, giveaways, and a follow the frog scavenger hunt through the Zoo.
