Group Reservation & Program Information
Bring your group to the wildest place in town! With 1,700 exotic and endangered animals and 23 acres of beautiful tropical plants the Palm Beach Zoo is a delightful and educational outdoor classroom. We also offer a wide variety of education programs with hands-on learning opportunities for participants of all ages. All zoo programs meet the benchmarks of Florida's Department of Education's Sunshine State Standards. The zoo offers special discount rates to groups of 15 or more. We encourage groups to make reservations in advance by calling our group department at 561-533-0887 ext. 229. Group rates are not available during Winter in July and Boo at the Zoo events.

Night Owls Overnight Adventure
Discover the zoo after hours and meet our creatures of night! This program is ideal for classes, scout groups, community organizations and families. Participants enjoy animal encounters, a night tour of the zoo, snack, continental breakfast and wild activities! For more information please call 561-533-0887 ext. 229. Please note that all snooze programs must be reserved in advance. This program is designed for participants ages 6 and over.

Spooky Snooze Overnights at the Zoo
Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn, and cauldron bubble! Are you brave enough to spend a night at the zoo? If you are, then join us for a special Halloween-themed Spooky Snooze program! Don’t worry, because we'll unmask the creatures of the night and show you that they’re not so scary after all. Enjoy an evening of pumpkin painting, crafts, night time tours, a special spooky snack, and story time. Activities are geared for children 6 and up: mummies and/or daddies must attend! Family Programs
The education department offers a variety of programs throughout the year for participants of all ages. Wild Zoo Adventure Toddler Workshops
This fall the zoo is offering educational and interactive workshops for your toddler; ages 2 - 4! Workshops are held in the classroom and include: hands-on animal encounters, stories, snack, song, craft-time, and admission to the zoo. Parent(s) or guardian(s) are required to attend this program with participant. Programs last for one to one and a half hours. Two year old workshop excludes snack.

Home School Classes
The Palm Beach Zoo is proud to offer elementary level home school classes for students throughout Palm Beach, Martin and Broward Counties. Students will explore a variety of topics through up-close animal investigation experiences. These classes are designed to provide an interactive approach to animal and life sciences. Classes are offered in the spring and fall of each year.

Stroller Safari
Bring your infant or toddler (age 2 and under) to the zoo for an exciting stroller safari. Each program is a different zoo adventure, and will include a stroller tour, up-close animal encounter, and activity page to take home. Parent(s) or guardian(s) are required to attend this program with children. Programs last one hour.

Behind the Scenes Zoo Adventure Tour
If you want to see more of the Palm Beach Zoo then sign-up today for a Behind-the-Scenes Zoo Adventure Tour! This program is designed for children and adults ages 6 years and up! (Parents must accompany their children.) The duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours and requires a minimum of 4 participants and must be reserved 7 days in advance. All programs include an animal up-close, hands-on opportunity with one of our animal ambassadors. Please note that animals are chosen by zoo staff.

Teacher Workshops
The Palm Beach Zoo offers teacher in service credit workshops throughout the year. There are workshops that are held at the zoo or they be presented at your facility if you have minimum group of 15 or more people. To schedule a workshop, be placed on our mailing list or for more information please call (561) 533-0887 ext. 229.- Workshops
- Project WET Workshop - Soak up knowledge, hands-on activities and materials with this interdisciplinary water education program that focuses on water resources.
- Project WILD or Aquatic WILD Workshop - Both are interdisciplinary environmental education programs emphasizing wildlife and its habitat.
- Project Learning Tree Workshop - This program uses trees and the forest as a window to the natural world. PLT is designed to encourage students to learn about the natural world around them - their place within it, and their responsibility for it.
- Florida Black Bear Curriculum Workshop - This workshop focuses on the Florida Black Bear Curriculum and includes lessons on the natural history and conservation needs of this threatened species.
Wild Safari Zoo Camp 2010
This summer, your kids belong in the zoo! Give them a wild and memorable camp experience on 23 acres of lush tropical habitat where over 1,400 animals can be observed and enjoyed.
Zoo Camp at the Palm Beach Zoo is one of the most popular camp programs in south Florida. Every week has a unique wildlife theme, and participants will experience zoo-keeping plus exciting and educational zoo activities.
Each day is filled with up-close animal encounters, animal exhibit visits, crafts, games, interactive fountain time, and much more!
This is a great opportunity for your kids to get in touch with the natural world and learn about the importance of saving animals and the wild places where they live.
