Bring your group to the wildest place in town! With 1,700 exotic and endangered animals and 23 acres of beautiful tropical plants the Palm Beach Zoo is a delightful and educational outdoor classroom. We also offer a wide variety of education programs with hands-on learning opportunities for participants of all ages. All zoo programs meet the benchmarks of Florida's Department of Education's Sunshine State Standards. The zoo offers special discount rates to groups of 15 or more. Group reservations should be made in advance. Please note that group rates are not available on special event days.

Discover the zoo after hours and meet our creatures of night! This program is ideal for classes, scout groups, community organizations and families. Participants enjoy animal encounters, a night tour of the zoo, snack, continental breakfast and wild activities! For more information please call 561-533-0887 ext. 229. Please note that all snooze programs must be reserved in advance. This program is designed for participants ages 6 and over.

The education department offers a variety of programs throughout the year for participants of all ages. For information regarding any of the programs listed below please contact the education department at (561) 533-0887 ext. 229. Please note that all education programs require advance registration.
This fall the zoo is offering educational and interactive workshops for your toddler; ages 2 - 4! Workshops are held in the classroom and include: hands-on animal encounters, stories, snack, song, craft-time, and admission to the zoo. Parent(s) or guardian(s) are required to attend this program with participant. Programs last for one to one and a half hours. Two year old workshop excludes snack.

The Palm Beach Zoo is proud to offer elementary level home school classes for students throughout Palm Beach, Martin and Broward Counties. Students will explore a variety of topics through up-close animal investigation experiences. These classes are designed to provide an interactive approach to animal and life sciences. Classes are offered in the spring and fall of each year.

Bring your infant or toddler (age 2 and under) to the zoo for an exciting stroller safari. Each program is a different zoo adventure, and will include a stroller tour, up-close animal encounter, and activity page to take home. Parent(s) or guardian(s) are required to attend this program with children. Programs last one hour.

If you want to see more of the Palm Beach Zoo then sign-up today for a Behind-the-Scenes Zoo Adventure Tour! This zoo adventure program is designed for children and adults ages 6 years and up! (Parents must accompany their children.) The duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours and includes the following:
Please note that the Levine Animal Care Complex - Animal Hospital is not accessible from inside the zoo. Your tour guide will meet you at the zoo’s main entrance. Cost Per Participant: $85 for Members $95 for Non-Members (Fee includes admission to the zoo.)

Zoo Camp at the Palm Beach Zoo is one of the most popular camp programs in south Florida. Every week has a unique wildlife theme, and participants will experience zoo-keeping plus exciting and educational zoo activities.
Each day is filled with up-close animal encounters, animal exhibit visits, crafts, games, interactive fountain time, and much more!
This is a great opportunity for your kids to get in touch with the natural world and learn about the importance of saving animals and the wild places where they live.
