Yellow-naped Amazon
- Amazona Auropalliata Auropalliata
- As with other amazons, this species is an elegant shade of green with a yellow patch on the back of its neck.
- They are native to Central America through South America.
- This arboreal species has zygodactyl feet, which means two toes face forward and two toes face backward which help it climb.
- They are classified as a species of least concern by the IUCN because they inhabit such a large range.
