- Amazona Vinacea
- As with other amazons, this species is an elegant shade of green with a grey breast and a defining red patch on the face.
- They are native to Central America through South America.
- This arboreal species has zygodactyl feet, which means two toes face forward and two toes face backward which help it climb.
- This species was listed by the IUCN as endangered since 1994 but more recent surveys have classified them as vulnerable because the global population may be larger then once estimated.
