Silver-eared Mesia

- The Silver-eared mesia is a colorful bird with blends of green, yellow, and orange covering the body, a black head, and a large silvery ear patch.
- They live from the eastern Himalayas to western China and south to Malaysia where they are residents of forests, scrublands, and jungles.
- They feed mainly on insects, but they also feed on berries and other available fruits.
- They are monogamous and live in large flocks of 6-30 individuals where they nest closely together and constantly groom one another.
