Silver-eared Mesia

The Silver-eared mesia is a colorful bird with blends of green, yellow, and orange covering the body, a black head, and a large silvery ear patch.
They live from the eastern Himalayas to western China and south to Malaysia where they are residents of forests, scrublands, and jungles.
They feed mainly on insects, but they also feed on berries and other available fruits.
They are monogamous and live in large flocks of 6-30 individuals where they nest closely together and constantly groom one another.
