Midas Cichlid

Amphilophus Citrinellus
They Midas cichlid is omnivorous, eating small fishes and snails, as well as some plant matter.
Males are larger in size, have more pronounced humps on the head, and longer fins. Their vents are slim and protrude from the body. Females have larger vents, which are angled toward their anal region.
The Midas cichlid can live up to 15 years.
Midas cichlids are found in sloping lakes and streams in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Adult sizes are approximately12 inches in length.
