Leopard Gecko*

Eublepharis Macularius
This small ground-dwelling gecko gets its name from the black spots all over its yellow-purple body.
They are native to deserts and arid grasslands of the Middle East particularly Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran.
To deal with the unforgiving dry season, the tail of this animal is used as a fat reserve and can become so plump that it may be confused for the head of the animal.
Females lay a clutch of 2 eggs 3-6 times a year.
