Honduran Milksnake

Lampropeltis Triangulum Hondurensis
This black and red banded snake reaches lengths of up to 5 feet.
They inhabit leaf litter on the forest floor of Central America, particularly Honduras, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.
Their coloration helps them to mimic the deadly coral snake, protecting them from many potential predators.
They feed on small mammals like mice and voles, as well as birds, eggs, and other snakes, including venomous species.
