- Freshwater angelfish are found in the Amazon region of South America.
- Average adult size can be up to 6 inches in length.
- Angelfish look like a disc on edge with long fins coming out of the top and bottom and have two "feelers" in front of the bottom fin.
- They have longitudinal stripes, which provide camouflage from predators.
- Freshwater angelfish feed on small fish and other small invertebrates.
