Eurasian Eagle Owl*

Bubo Bubo Hispanus
This is the largest owl species in the world with females noticeably larger then males.
They reside in river valleys, open forests, taiga, steppes, and semi deserts of Europe and northern Asia.
Owls are expert nocturnal hunters because they have excellent low-light vision and asymmetrical ears that help them localize sounds made by prey.
They have been successfully reintroduced to areas of Europe where they were previously extirpated after suitable habitat was restored.
