- The Collared peccary is found in Southwestern United States, Central America and Northern South America.
- The Collared peccary is also known as Javelina, Tayaussa or Musk Hog.
- Collared peccaries have poor eyesight, good hearing and razor-sharp tusks.
- They can weigh 35-60 pounds and stand 2 feet in height.
- In the wild they eat agaves and prickly pears for hydration.
