Brazilian Rainbow Boa
- Epicrates Cenchria Cenchria
- The Brazilian rainbow boa is so called due to the iridescence of the red-magenta scales along its 5-7 foot body.
- They inhabit river valleys and lowlands of Brazil, Suriname and portions of Venezuela.
- Their biggest threats have been collection for the pet trade and deforestation for ranches and agricultural lands.
