Brazilian black tarantula

Grammostola pulchra: The Brazilian black tarantula is a burrowing arachnid found in the grasslands and tropical forests of Uruguay and Brazil.; It is covered in short fine hairs giving it the appearance of velvet, and is jet black in color.; These ambush predators hunt at night for insects, small lizards, and mice.; Adult Brazilian black tarantulas may grow up to 5-6 inches.
