Palm Beach Zoo Hosts Annual “We Care Kids Fair”

February 21, 2013

It’s an event hundreds of south Florida children look forward to every year, the We Care Kids Fair at the Palm Beach Zoo.

The event, presented by Parenting Plus Magazine, will take place on Saturday & Sunday, March 2 & 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The annual event provides kids with hands-on cultural and educational activities within the Zoo’s 23 acres of lush tropical habitat where more than 1,400 animals live.

Activities include professional face painters, animal-themed crafts and games, plus live music and entertainment performed by kids in the community. Informative keeper talks, roving animal encounters and wildlife shows will also take place helping to further spread the Zoo’s mission to conserve wildlife, protect wildlife habitat, and inspire others to appreciate the natural world.

All “We Care Kids Fair” activities are free with paid Zoo admission. A select number of discount children’s coupons will be included in Happy Meals at participating McDonald’s locations in the vicinity of the Zoo, beginning Monday, February 25.
