“Story Time at the Zoo” will be held every Saturday in August 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Zoo’s Conservation Station. The event will be included in Zoo admission, and will include a guided tour to an animal habitat featured in the story, as well as a craft activity that can be taken home. All books read by storyteller AJ Dasher are thoughtfully chosen with the intent of communicating the Zoo’s mission of inspiring people to act on behalf of wildlife, whether that be through a message of conservation or by connecting children to animals that are Zoo residents.
